Another pair of pants that is.
So, this was a clothing issue weekend. Seriously. I know you read about my cry-fest in the dressing room Friday. If you didn’t, then go do it. Now.
Well, this morning I put on a pair of jeans that have been in the back of my closet because they didn’t fit. The things are NEW. I figured I should pull them out. Nope. They don’t fit.
They’re too BIG.
As in my nephew grabbed me when we were playing and my pants (ZIPPED AND BUTTONED) fell down. Off. What? They didn’t fit me at all before now they’re too big.
Sigh.
Anyone want a pair of BRAND NEW 16 petite jeans Avenue brand? I have two pair.
So, anyway, back to my morning. I got to church and kept having to pull up my jeans as I was walking in so I decided that since I was near Wal-mart I’d go there after church and see if they had a pair of cheap jeans.
They did. $12. I was very happy.
So, Friday I tried on Levi’s and the size 14 was too big. Today I tried on Wal-Mart’s brand so I grabbed a 12 and a 14. The 14 fits, not loose at all. So, I bought one pair. Not the best jeans I’ve ever owned, they aren’t the ones that I’ll cry over when they don’t fit anymore but they will do to get me through this next stage.
So, my current jeans are all size 16 from the Women’s department. Looks like I can safely move to the Misses department and I’m safe looking at the 12s and 14s (depending on the brand/cut). I also tried on a shirt today. I’ve been in the Women’s 1X and tried on a Misses XL — it fit (actually it was a little baggy). 
I’m very top heavy so XL from the Misses is a good thing.
