Well, not quite, but it’s close. Just a sleep and a wake-up to go.

Why am I so excited about Friday? (Like I’m not usually excited about Friday.) But, this Friday is extra special because…I’m getting a super cool surprise delivered tomorrow.
What you may ask?
I treated myself to a Kindle. Yep, a pretty big treat but I’ve been wanting one since they first came out and after receiving some gift certificates and a rebate I wasn’t counting on budget wise and after a price drop it was time. So, I bought it.
Only I chose two day delivery instead of overnight delivery. So, it’ll be here tomorrow. But, I was looking at free books and found a couple that I’ve already set to wirelessly download. Plus, I’ve had some ebooks that I’ve downloaded over time that were either free or that I paid for that I haven’t read (horrible, isn’t it) that I converted and have waiting to put on the kindle tomorrow as well.
It’s going to be so hard to work. Sigh.
But, on a better note. I think I’m coming out of this funk.
FINALLY.
It’s been ridiculously long and it’s driving me nuts. So, I’m happy that I think I’ve found the right road.
We’ll see.
But, on an even better note. Let me tell you about a jacket.
Last Christmas I received a jacket as a gift for my work in the middle school ministry at my church. Well, it wasn’t just me that got it, a bunch of people got it. Here’s the problem, the jacket was a man’s jacket that they gave to everyone — men & women alike. It’s actually a very nice jacket, has a nice embroidered logo on that I’m proud to wear. However, it was designed for a man so it doesn’t have that give at the hips that most women need. It fit me in the chest an shoulders but not in the hips (plus the arms are kind of long). Actually, I’m thinking it’s probably not a flattering jacket for me fit wise, but I still like it.
So, to my even better note, this man’s jacket that doesn’t have give at the hips that I’ve had for a year now and worn quite a bit…
I wear the jacket (as I’ve said already a few times) but I haven’t been able to zip it up. I could kind of zip it up but not really. It does have this weird zipper thing where you can unzip it from the bottom so once I zipped it then unzipped the bottom a bit to loosen the hip section so it wasn’t pulling so bad.
Do you have a guess where this is going?
I’ll give you a second.

Yep, that’s right. I ZIPPED UP THE JACKET TODAY.
I was at the park watching my friend’s son play soccer and it was cold so I tried zipping the jacket more out of habit then because I thought I’d be able to.
But, it ZIPPED.
Not only did it zip but it wasn’t pulling or in any way making me feel like I should reconsider keeping it zipped.
Plus, my favorite pants keep falling down. But that’s not a good note so I’m not going to discuss that right now.

Sooooooo envious. So. Seriously. OMW. Like, I’m starstruck because you have a Kindle. Or will have one. Post pics please. There was a woman at the pool we go to who came and set up shop on her pool chair every day and read on her kindle. Every day. I finally got the nerve to introduce myself and ask her if I coud . . .hold her Kindle. I loooooved it. In a very sinful way. I am gonna buy myself one one of these days.
AND I wouldn’t be too quick to say pants falling off isn’t a good way to end a post. It is. A good way. Congrats on the NSVs. Zipping and falling off are great great great. I’m happy for you!
