I had a great post planned out about getting non-meat protein. I also had a great post about how I made my Taco Popcorn TASTE EVEN BETTER (can you believe it) and LOWER CALORIE tonight.
My sister and nephew came over so we could watch Biggest Loser this evening (that I recorded last night).
Then I decided to spend a couple minutes tweaking the website I worked on at work today. Yeah, my quick tweak took until 11PM and now I’m too tired to post anything witty or wise (or even helpful).
But, I am super excited that I got quite a bit done on the website that has been “in process” for about a year (heck, the domain is up for renewal in a month and I started this process prior to buying the domain).
If you can keep a secret, and promise not to tell anyone I’ll give you a peak. Really, the only thing finished are the “about me” page and the sidebar. Sigh. I also have most of the “recommendations” page done — just can’t get my contact form to work (but I have a temporary link that will do for now and I might change it to a four column table instead). Well, now that I look at it, my “in the news” page is pretty complete. I’m not sure about the “busy me” page and the “contact me” page is only temporary because I want a form there instead of the text. I’m also not too keen on the page titles right now — but can’t think of what I really want them to be called. There’s some back-end stuff that still needs work and obviously the banner needs to be done (I have it designed in my head but I can’t get it created — I’m NOT a designer).
I know, you’re dying to see what’s consumed an entire day year of my life.
Well, remember it’s a secret, but here’s a glimpse. 
My next project will be taking this (boring, old, out-of-date) website and janky blog
and move it all to this new template.
Unless I decide on a different template. I like this one a lot but it’s a little pricier than I had thought I was going to spend so it’s holding me up. Plus, it’s a lot of work getting it set-up and I don’t really want to do the work. Honestly, I’d just hire someone else to do it but I’ve had trouble getting anyone to do it (thus the year of this one sitting in “let’s do this land” like the one above). But, I just need to suck it up, buy the template and get started on it. Wonder how long it will take for me to get that one up and running and how many times I’ll have to redo it because I’m not happy.
Sigh.

good luck with your web work. i’ve found that the hubs is never done with his. always update, revising, or something to be done on it.
