Some days are just perfection. 
My days started out OK, nothing exciting at work…just my random everyday get the job done stuff. Around 4:30 my sister-in-law came into the office to get the boat ready to go out on the lake. I looked at the clock and decided to shut down and join them. This is how I spent my evening
Is that just pure perfection or what?
We ate on the lake (I had a vege sandwich, a piece of chocolate and a chocolate chip cookie — yes I still staying well within my daily calories). I helped my niece fish. Then her daddy helped her while her mom fished and I manned the engines. When they got bored fishing (long after I was bored) I got to drive across the lake. Of course, when we were at the opposite side of the lake we saw a couple bolts of lightning so I decided it was time to head back. It started getting dark and the wind was picking up so I handed the seat off to my brother to get us the rest of the way off the lake.

I’ve been seeing new readers lately so I wanted to touch on something quick. I’ve shared my “fat chick” blog title and what I call myself with a few family and friends. I haven’t gotten a positive feedback from them and feel like I’m always defending myself. I just want to make it clear this is NOT a negative title in my head. I see that title in my head as so much more. So, please don’t think I’m berating myself of bringing myself down with that title. For some reason, in my head the title “fat chick” is a liberating one. I know it’s weird, it is what it is. In my head I see it as “the fat chick who is working her butt off to be the FORMER fat chick” (but that’s too long to type out all the time). Yes, I know I could just use my name, but I have a very strong web presence for my business. Googling my name, brings up me. I don’t have a problem if my clients or future clients find this site but I’d prefer to keep this part of my life a little bit separate from my work life. And, my first name is unique so it’s just easier for me to use “Fat Chick” and keep a little anonymity. If you want to know who I am — ask. Heck, my entire life is linked on the right if you really care to find out who I am.
So, there you have it.
Here’s to another day.
I know I haven’t logged my calories in awhile. Sorry…I just haven’t felt like it. LOL I was going to today but I got my sandwich tonight from a small mom & pop deli by my house so I have no idea exactly how many calories were on it. I’m 99% sure I was right at my daily goal but I have no idea so I’m not putting it on here. I do know that I was really craving chocolate which probably means my tom is coming…but the calendar says I have a week. So, must have been my body wanting chocolate. Whatever it’s fine.
I’ve also been drinking lots of water lately. It’s probably nothing but my dad is diabetic (type 1 — Juvenile — genetic type) and has been since before I was born so it makes me nervous. I have the monitor but the test strips or so blasted expensive so I’ve asked my mom to see if she can get me some. It’ll make me a little more comfortable. (Not really sure why this is bothering me today, but it is.)

Hey! I got the same reactions from my husband when I started the fatass blog. And I just happen to love the word. And in a few more (50) pounds, when I’m a Recovering Fatass, maybe I’ll have to reconsider. But for now, please don’t hesitate to refer to me as The Fatass who’s smokin everybody on GAG.

Beautiful lake! That view is to die for! What a lovely evening. I’m jealous!
As for the blog handle, I think our society considers “fat” a bad word but I’m all for us chubbylicious folks taking it back. =P.

i am soo jealous of the lake! its still so hot here I step outside and start sweating! “the fat chick who is working her butt off to be the FORMER fat chick” is long, but it has a nice ring to it.
