and weigh-in.
So, as of this morning, the scale says 214.2 lbs. Not bad (although I liked the reading Monday a lot better LOL).
As for my challenge…drinking at least 64 ounces of water a day. I’ve been pretty good. A couple days I went out and that threw me because I didn’t have bottles/glasses that I knew the volume on. But, I think I was on those days or very close. One day I was short but I felt so sick and water-logged that I swear if I took another sip of water I would explode like a waterballoon.
I did buy a new water bottle. I actually have sort of an obsession with water bottles. I am super picky about what I’ll drink out of so I have a lot that I don’t like. I found one that I really like made by Eddie Bauer. It holds 24 ounces and has the perfect drink spout (for me) and fits in my hand great. I went to get a second one (well, third because I lost my second one
) and found the same thing only it holds 32 ounces. So, I got that one. It’s a little harder to hold (I have small hands) but it is nice to only have to drink two of those (or one of those and one of the smaller one plus a little extra). I know, I’m weird.
Whatever. LOL
So, here’s my new water bottle. The other one is the same only pink.

Also, can I just brag about myself. I’m so stoked about something. Last night I got an e-mail from a department coordinator at the local college. I was asked to be on the advisory board for a new program their starting. I’m SO freaking excited!
It’s in the industry I work and to be asked to be on the committee for the program is a pretty big deal for me.
Plus, she asked me if I’d be a guest speaker in one of her classes. That’s pretty exciting to me, I wanted to be a teacher when I was younger but chose a different career path. I am now scheduled to be a guest speaker at two different schools this coming year. I think it’s the best of both worlds.
So…how are you doing on your 21 Day Challenge?

Great job on hitting the 15 lb mark! I hope you grabbed a button. At least one of us former Peachies is headed in the right direction. Also-congrats on the job-front. That is very exciting. I never-ever wanted to be a teacher, but now I work as a speech-language pathologist in an elementary school. Go figure! The thought of leaving my little room with 3-4 kiddos and having to speak in front of an entire class scares the bejeezus out of me, but I’m going to have to do that a little this year. Hears to stepping outside of our comfort zones!

Yes! You got the 15# button! Sweet!
BTW, totally understand the obsession with water bottles. I am the same way!
And congrats on being picked for the committee!
