So, I finished day 2 of the 21 day challenge VERY SUCCESSFULLY.
I had about 8 million gallons of water today (ok, actually it was 76 ounces) and about 36 bazillion trips to the bathroom.
Sigh.
I gave up meat this week. I’m really changing things up to try to blast through this plataue I’ve hit. Plus, I read Skinny Bitch over the weekend. I won’t be going completely vegan but I will be cutting a lot of meat out of my diet. If I choose to have meat then I will, but for the most part I’m cutting it out. Especially for the next week or so to get through this number.
I’m SICK of seeing 215.6 on the scale.
Done with it.

Disclaimer the following may be considered TMI…of so feel free to skip
Unfortunately, some of my food choices are playing havoc with my bowels. I wouldn’t mind if things moved…but they haven’t been successful yet. Which is WEIRD, I’m usually VERY regular — I’ve had doctors tell me I’m textbook. But, we’ll get something going soon. If you looked at the amount of fiber I’ve had the past two days you’d think I’d be slip sliding my way to victory but, no such luck yet.

——————————–TMI Complete………………………………………
So, Thursday calories: 1,457.
Now, I need to see if I can find nutritional or at least menu information for the restaurant I’m having a meeting at tomorrow. Then I need to enjoy the storm that’s brewing outside.
Oops, I forgot to add something….I got a compliment today (and yes, I’m taking it as a compliment despite my whine when I tell you about it). I was at the office and one of my assistants (who happens to be my brother’s mother-in-law) said “I’m really noticing your weight loss in across your shoulder blades and in the neck”. Yes, it was a nice compliment. Yes, that’s where I’ve been losing a lot of my weight. BUT, that’s not where I want to lose it. I need to lose in my neck and the shoulder area would be OK but why is that where I’m FIRST losing? Why not my thighs? Or my stomach? Or my chest? Why do I have to lose there? Heck, I could lose in my wrists and I’d be happier.
But, yes, it was a compliment. Yes, I appreciate the compliment. Yes, I’m very happy that my weight loss is noticable.

Maybe you’ve been eating too much fiber and you’re body’s not used to it?
I’ve heard that the areas people lose weight first is where they gained it last – if that makes sense. But don’t worry, as long as you keep on losing weight you’ll drop it in all the right places.
