Of course, that someone was me.
Months ago I agreed to make some baked good for a bake sale this weekend. I had forgotten about it until the person reminded me. I’m supposed to give them to the person tomorrow so I had to bake tonight.
Problem #1 – I am not a very good baker. I kind of suck at baking. I can cook. But I can’t bake.
Problem #2 – When I do bake there are two things I like to eat. Brownies and Muffins/Bread.
Problem #3 – At the store when I was buying the stuff to do said baking I chose Brownies and Chocolate Chip Muffins.
I came home and proceeded to bake said brownies and chocolate chip muffins. They turned out good. How do I know? I had to eat the scraps of brownie left in the pan. Now, I could have eaten the entire pan (what I wanted to do was eat the entire pan because these brownies ROCKED). But, I didn’t eat the entire pan, I ate the crumb scraps.
And they were good.
Also, for dinner I had fried chicken. I know blah, blah, blah. But, you know what, it tasted GOOD. I have been craving fried chicken for about three weeks and tonight I had it. And was very surprised that the calories are not as bad as I thought. (I still won’t eat fried chicken more than a couple times a year but it’s not as bad as I had thought.)
But, check out my dessert. (I was craving something sweet so I dug through the cupboards and threw this together.)

It’s finally cool enough to eat and can I just tell you
As in “Oh My Goodness that stuff ROCKS.”
As in, I better get some more peaches so I can make some more.
Hmm…I think I could make it with berries too.
I’m in heaven.
