Are you proud of me? Oh, wait, maybe I should tell you what I bought.
A BIKE!!!
After my meeting this afternoon I went to the store and bought a bike and a bike rack so I could get the bike home. I was cheap and bought an inexpensive bike, I figure if I start really using it then I can justify spending more money on it. For now this will work.
Unfortunately I didn’t have enough hands to get the fat butt, cushioned seat. I thought I could wait. Nope. I need to go back tomorrow to get it. My butt hurts from just riding in the parking lot. LOL
Plus, it’s been a while since I’ve been on a bike.
A LONG while. I was a little wobbly. I didn’t fall or anything but I was kind of nervous so I need to do a few laps around the parking lot or something and get comfortable before I head off to the office Monday morning.
Also, I’m going to get some weight training in lugging that thing up and down the flight of stairs to my 2nd floor apartment. That wasn’t fun today with my work bag and purse. It’ll be a good excuse to consolidate, though.
So, I had my monthly business lunch meeting today. It was awesome. I had planned what I was going to eat but did not want it when I got there AT ALL so I ate what I wanted. Tasted DELICIOUS and I chose cabbage slaw instead of the fries that I kind of wanted. But, I wanted the burger more than the fries. And, I love their cabbage slaw so it was fine.
We sat for so long and I started wanting dessert so we walked across the street and got dessert. Probably didn’t need it but I wanted it so it was OK.
Plus, it ended up being my dinner because I’m still full. Not the healthiest dinner but very satisfying today.
I think I’m going to up my calories this week. I was talking with some of my friends after the meeting and they suggested trying a bit higher calorie intake. So, I’m giving it a week to see what happens. Plus, I didn’t like that doctor so I don’t want to listen to her. I’ll try that for a week and see what happens. Based on some more stuff I read and a calculation my friend gave me I’m upping my intake to 1,500 calories a day.
Plus, I’m trying out a new calorie tracker.
