OK, had lots of comments on my last post, wanted to adress them so you don’t think I’m starving myself.

My doctor gave me specific instructions to eat 1,200 calories a day and nothing more.  Some days 1,200 is too little for me, others it’s too much.  On the days it seems like too much I make myself eat more.  On the days that it seems like too little I try to keep it around 1,400.  So, despite the fact that the doctors orders were for 1,200 I try to stick between 1,200 and 1,400 a day.

Now, obviously yesterday I didn’t meet eat a full 1,200 calories.  I had forgotten to send my food log to my home computer and was logging food and counting calories from memory.  Not the best way to journal food but for one day it worked.  Sort of.  When I got to work this morning I realized I hadn’t eaten enough.  If that happens ocassionally (like once a week) I don’t freak out about it.  If it happens more than that then I force myself to eat something else.

So, was my doctor wrong?  I don’t know.  I’ve done research on calorie intake and a lot of what I see says 1,200.  So, I’m OK with my 1,200 – 1,400 calories per day goal.

So, now to today’s results.  Wednesday:  Calories:  1,215, NQ:  B
