So, I joined another challenge. I’m on the PEACH team of the Shrinking Days of Summer Challenge at The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans. Pretty cool, huh?
Officially this is my first weigh-in for the competition. So, my starting weight is 219.8. But, really my true competition is with myself so I’ve lost 1.6 since last week. 
I’ve “met” and started talking with a few of my team members in this challenge and I’m really excited to get to know them and work together over the next few weeks to get rid of some of this weight.
They posted a good question on the challenge post: “Tell us how you’re feeling about your weight loss right this very minute.” You know, right this minute I’m feeling very empowered. I wish this weight would come off a lot faster, but I’m not frustrated by it right now. I’m feeling in control and like it’s all about me. Pretty good feeling if you ask me.
I’m looking forward to this journey and am really excited to have a cheering squad join me on it.

Hey! I found it! Up at the top, will remember that now.
I am very hopeful for this challenge and can’t wait to finally have our percentages up next week! I’m aiming for at least 2 pounds over the next week!
