We can celebrate one step in achieving my goals for the week, right?
So, let’s see…a recap
I didn’t quite achieve goal #1 but I didn’t quite fail. I got on the scale but I didn’t look at it. I know that sounds like a failure (or stupid) but I’m going to count it as a success. I really didn’t look at it.
I stayed on my DietPower plan, although I’m not really sticking to it because it recalculated my calorie intake too low so I’ve upped it a little bit to a healthy level. (Hey if my doctor told me 1,200 calories then I guess it’s OK.)
I didn’t log any miles today because I had to come home and clean the house for my Pampered Chef party tomorrow. I did clean the house, though, so that counts for something just nothing logged. But, it’s OK, I still have six more days to log 5 miles.
Speaking of cleaning, I have my Pampered Chef party tomorrow. I’m excited about it and will plan my food all day in order to have the yummy dessert we’re making. Fruit Trifle. Yummy. It will have white cake (which I might not eat — don’t really like cake) berries, pineapple, and whip cream (the real stuff).
My food today was so absolutely delicious. I got some great stuff at the market last night (although I have to say eating healthy is freaking EXPENSIVE) and enjoyed some of it today. I don’t usually like logging my food here because, well, it’s boring to me since I log it in my food journal but today’s is worth sharing.
Breakfast: Yogurt with fresh raspberries and 1/4 cup of Kashi Go Lean cereal
AM Snack: Plum
Lunch: Thai wrap with turkey, cabbage, and brocolli sprouts
PM Snack: Wheat crackers with french onion light laughing cow cheese spread
Dinner: Chicken coated in mustard and ground almonds over a cabbage salad with Honey Mustard dressing
Dessert: Banana slices with peanut butter drizzled over it and chocolate chips.
