So, after church today I went to the market.  I’ll admit I drove through KFC first because I was STARVING.  But, I figured getting a snacker (OK, two snackers) to fill me up before heading to the market was better than running the risk of buying stuff because I was STARVING.  (And, I knew if I came home that I would fall asleep and not get to the store and I NEED FOOD.

So, I packed up on vegetables.  I got:

I think that’s all the vegetables.

In the meat department I got:

Dairy Dept I got:

Plus I got some:

Tonight I’m thinking about making grilled lemon-pepper shrimp and roasted asparagus.  I’ll make enough to have lemon-pepper shrimp salad tomorrow for lunch.  Need to figure out dinner tomorrow night because it’s youth night (last one of the year (WooHoo).  I’ll probably pack a salad with some of the deli turkey.

I also found a recipe for some yummy sounding tacos using a romaine leaf instead of a torilla.  I want to try that.  :)

I’m sure all my stuff isn’t 100% SBD friendly, especially for Phase 1, but I don’t care.  I HATE rules and so I’m making up my own.  I understand the gest of it and will go witih that.

I should probably be figuring dinner out soon (have a meeting in 2 1/2 hours) but I’m so tired my eyelids are drooping.

So, wish me luck.

I use sugar free creamer. I’m a French Vanilla lover and I like the coffeemate better than the International Delight (which is weird because I always drank the regular International Delight prior to starting this journey..) It might take a few days but you will get use to it and love it I’m sure :-)

hope your meeting went well tonight and you were hopefully able to get a nap in. the KFC snackers are pretty hi in calories, but if you incorporate some hard exercise, like a quick run or a swim it’s forgivable. they dont sale fresh ready to eat fruit at the market? maybe next week bring some grapes or veggies with you to church if you know you didn’t get to eat before church…best of luck this week i know you can get that loss you’re looking for.
